Do good and only good will come back to you

कबीरा तेरी झोपड़ी गलकटियन के पास, जैसी करनी-वैसी भरनी, तू क्यों भये उदास”

These meaningful words were written by Sufi Saint Kabir.
Being a weaver from lower caste, Kabir lived in an area close to the butcher shops around.

Help, Kabir Das, Life

Kabir gave his religious teachings sitting in what the “pundits” (of higher caste) considered an “unholy” place; for which they also criticised him.

Kabir, while not countering the criticism directly, through this Doha, took the discussion on this matter to a totally different level.
In a very humble way he gave an example of a lotus which blooms beautifully even in swampy and dirty pond, not worrying about external surrounding but blooming internally.

Through his life and teachings, he emphasized the importance of internal purity. He believed in the Law of cause and effect and emphasised on doing good unconditionally, no matter how harsh the situations or people are.

Once Kate Angell, the author of Richmond Rogues said, “Outer beauty attracts, but inner beauty captivates.” If you ask me, why inner purity is more important than outer one, my simple answer is outer beauty may fade out but inner beauty last as long as you are alive.

I too believe that we should focus only on the real reason of coming to the world, to find out who we truly are and believe in doing only good. That’s how only good will echo back.
