Here’s a fable that really motivated me –
Once upon a time the Sun and Cave struck up a heated conversation. The Cave was not happy with the darkness around and felt jealous of the Sun who had an exuberant light.
When they argued, Sun didn’t understand what dark meant and cave wanted to see the hang of light so they decided to exchange places. The cave went up to the sun and said, “Ah, I see, this is beyond wonderful. Now come down and see where I have been living.”
The sun went down to the cave and said, “Hey, but I don’t see any difference.”
When the sun went down, it took its light along and even the darkest corners were illuminated. That’s the reason sun couldn’t see any difference.
I Believe, the enlightened beings can never be in state of hell and fundamental darkness. They carry their state of tranquility with them all the time.
We often think that heaven is a place where we are supposed to go, perhaps in true sense it is a state of mind we are supposed to achieve.
If you are full of darkness within, you become a cave unknowingly. It’s a hell within and no matter how much you accumulate, you still remain hollow. If you are illuminated like the sun, then the darkness of the cave will not matter. You could be in the worse of circumstances, you’ll still be able to find bliss somewhere.
And that is the reason I said ‘Jaadu hum sabke pas hai, bas difference yeh hai, kuch aasman mein dhundte rehjaate hai aur kuch khud mein hi dhund lete hai’
